Reverend Dr. Dexter Nutall is a native of Washington, D.C, and has been a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church family for his entire life. In March 2009, he was installed as the church’s fourth pastor.

Pastor Nutall holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Mount St. Mary’s College; a Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law; and a Doctorate of Ministry with a specialization in Urban Ministry. 
Before transitioning to full-time ministry, he built a distinguished legal and public service career, holding positions with several prominent law firms, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the United States Senate, and the Office of Religious Affairs under former D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray.  His diverse professional background and innovative thinking make him a sought-after advisor and speaker. 

He is married. He and and his wife will be celebrating their 28th wedding anniversary next week.  He has two amazing daughters. His oldest daughter is 24 years old and attends Harvard Law School.  His youngest daughter is 21 and attends Howard University as a dance major.
