Dr. Daniel Hutson is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychotherapy and psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. His clinical work emphasizes evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and the Gottman Method for couples therapy, to help individuals and families achieve meaningful and lasting change. Dr. Hutson earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Bowie State University.

James “Jamie” Tyler is the Founder of the Jamie Tyler Foundation and a retired Detective Grade 2 with over 25 years of service in the Metropolitan Police Department in Washington, D.C. His experience on the front lines of public safety gave him a firsthand understanding of the emotional and psychological toll that stress, grief, and trauma can have on individuals, families, and communities.

In 2024, Jamie launched the Jamie Tyler Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about mental health and providing vital support to those who are struggling. The foundation works to break down stigma surrounding mental health by creating safe spaces for open, honest conversations and offering practical resources for healing and resilience.

Dontae Carroll is a father, business leader, and community advocate who believes parenting, like leadership, is rooted in accountability, consistency, and love. He has spent more than two decades leading organizations and developing people across the real estate and financial services industries, but the role he considers most important is being a husband and father.

He and his wife raised their two children here in Charles County. His adult son and daughter are now professionals who are doing great things personally and professionally.

John Wright is ABC's Master Personal Trainer and loves to demonstrate his knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, fitness assessments, exercise programming, and instructional techniques he acquired during his tenure in the U.S. Army.  He has trained and competed as a body builder for seven years and possesses experience as a dietician in the military. He is a retired veteran with over 23 years of good and faithful service in the military with three combat tours overseas. Additionally, John was Master Fitness Qualified and scored over 290 out of 300 points on the Army Physical Fitness Test. The same skills he demonstrated in the military he now applies to the services provided at ABC Fitness Connection, L.L.C. 

He and his wife, Tammy Wright are advocates in the community promoting health, wellness, and lifestyle changes without fad diets and yoyo dieting.

Collins, II, Esq., serves as President of the Charles County Board of Commissioners, a role he has held since 2018 after previously serving two terms as District 3 Commissioner, including as Vice President. A lifelong Charles County resident, he brings more than 30 years of public service experience and over two decades as an attorney focused on corporate and small business law.

Commissioner President Collins made history as the first African American elected to lead Charles County and was re-elected in 2022—the first Commissioner President to achieve re-election in two decades. He currently serves as Chair of the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, strengthening regional collaboration across the National Capital Region.

Meet Reggie Rice, D.C.’s Comedy Magician of the Year! During lunch, get ready for a  theatrical ride that will have you and your son bursting into laughter!  Reggie was born at Roosevelt Roads Naval Station, Puerto Rico. Both of his parents were serving in the Air Force.  His father served twenty-three years in uniform (most of the time as a military police and another thirteen as a civilian working as a budget analyst for the Department of Defense) before his death in 2012. His mother, a native of Puerto Rico, served five years in the Air Force.  She worked for Wal-Mart in the cash office and as manager for more than twenty years. A dedicated Jehovah's Witness, her religion prevented her from attending Reggie's shows. But Reggie said she never stopped loving and supporting her son as he followed his dream. The love of both parents, Reggie said, had a profound impact on him and they were a huge force behind his life and drive for success.
